Red Wine & Berry Spritzer Recipe
For a cool, refreshing cocktail this summer, try a red wine and berry spritzer! Loaded with raspberries, blackberries and orange, it’s perfect for times when you want to stay away from hard liquor, while still enjoying a drink!
Ingredients – Yields 1 Cocktail
- 2-3 raspberries
- 2-3 blackberries
- 1/4 orange sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Honey
- Juice of half a lime
- 2 parts Cru International Washington Merlot Style Red Wine
- 1 part Carbonated Soda
- Sprig of mint
Instructions
- In a glass add a few cubes of ice, strawberries and blueberries. Add honey and lime juice. Mix well.
- Add two parts wine to glass and stir again.
- Top with carbonated soda, add a sprig of mint and enjoy!

In 1952, Harry Spagnol bought a grocery store and began dispensing wine juice and grapes from his store to home winemakers. As the business grew with demand, they started producing wine kits by 1982. The business was acquired by Vincor and became Spagnols Wine & Beer Making Supplies. In 2000, RJ Grape and Spagnols merged to create Canada’s leading wine and beer making supplier – RJ Spagnols. In 2013, we updated our name to RJS Craft Winemaking.
